Working Group 2 (WG2) of the ESENBURN network is dedicated to supporting researchers like you by standardizing preclinical burn models for the validation of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs). We are building a collaborative international framework to ensure consistent, ethical, and regulatory-compliant evaluation methods across Europe.
Together, we are identifying and mapping leading laboratories, analyzing current in vivo and ex vivo models, and developing comprehensive guidelines that will strengthen the path from lab to clinic. WG2 also offers specialized training programs tailored for Early Career Investigators and Young Researchers, focusing on the design, validation, and translation of ATMPs for burn patients.
